Uomi Tezukuri Konjak DojoCooking experience of healthy Japanese food "Konjak"
The water makes use of the amenable characteristics of the locality, and you can enjoy an interactive experience to make konjak which has been held in the Uomi area since times past. The special potato which is used as the raw material for konjak is boiled and ground up by hand, and then stirred to make the final product. Everybody is surprised by this authentic konjak,which is completely different to that which is commercially available. The activity includes a konjak tasting and souvenir. The personalities of the friendly local old ladies are also among its charms. As they do not understand any languages other than Japanese, use movements and hand gestures to make yourself understood.
