Historical shrine that performs "Dengaku Nohmai"

This is a shrine where every year on February 15, the Mizuumi no Denngaku Nohmai dance, a Dengaku and Noh dance which is a nationally-designated intangible folk-culture asset is performed. The shrine was established in 463. It is an historic location with the Keitaitenno emperor dedicating the shrine as the spring source of the Asuwa. The main shrine seen today was reconstructed in 1910.
